My time spent in this Institute has helped me in many ways. It has shaped up my career in a way I could only imagine. “Symbiosis”, as the same suggests, believes in the philosophy of “world is one family” and indeed this philosophy being practiced in the real sense, it helped me develop a global outlook, to understand people from various race and culture.
I must admit that the kind of learning environment and faculty that this institute possess is unique and a class apart.
Also, apart from academics, this institute also focuses on sports, cultural activities and social causes. And this blend makes this institute stand out from all the rest.
I belong to the first ever batch of BCA (2002-2005). And indeed, being the part of it as the first batch, we had our part of pampering and indulgences. For instance, we formed the first rock band of SICSR. Our batch was loved and adored by all. We performed at many places within Pune and won accolades and trophies for the institute.
Today I’m a part of Cognizant (Bangalore), working in the capacity of “IT Projects Management and Co-ordinator” for major IT Infrastructure projects. Day in, day out I spent my time in analysis, coordinating, status meetings and so on. And then, once in a year when I receive this invitation for alumni meet, I realise and thank SICSR for all the contribution it made to make my proffesional life worthwhile and meaningful…! SICSR truly rocks.
This makes me a proud Symbian…!
