Student passing XII from any faculty or equivalent diploma in Engineering/Technology with minimum 50% marks. (For SC/ST: 45%) |

11. Assessment |
The final total assessment will be as per the following scheme. Theory Subjects : Internal Assessment (60 %): Each faculty is required to give an assessment plan to you at the beginning of the programme. External Assessment (40 %): External assessment will be done based on the End-Semester examination. Practical Subjects : Practical assessment will cover the assignments and lab examination. |

12. Standard of Passing |
A student has to pass both internal & external exam separately. The grade F or marks less than 50% of Individual head (internal & external) will be considered as fail. A student will be eligible for award of degree if he obtains a minimum 2.00 CGPA at the end of 6th semester. |

13. Award of Degree |
The Degree will be awarded at the end of 6th semester examination by taking into consideration the performance of all 6 semesters examinations. |
